Vice President of Technology

Responsible for managing diverse software engineering teams located in our offices in Reston, Virginia; and Indiana, Pennsylvania. The candidate must be responsible to develop and train the staff to deliver the required capability with innovative software solutions. The candidate must have experience developing enterprise applications, web portals and portable applications. The candidate must be accountable for the delivery of cost, schedule, quality and technical performance of the software engineering organization. The candidate must provide software development leadership based on extensive knowledge of industry best practices and iterative software development models.

This position will report to the President/CEO and will provide support on business development, proposal preparation and corporate development. The candidate must coordinate with technical directors to ensure conformance to established practices and to take advantage of increased benefits derived from new techniques of analysis. He/She must deploy and re-deploy resources among software engineering groups/projects and provides software resource planning leadership to ensure adequate resources are available.

US Citizenship is required. An applicant who is able to pass a background investigation and achieve DOD Secret Clearance or an applicant who currently possesses an active secret government security clearance is preferred. Candidate must have knowledge of an experience in software engineering methods and tools and at least 10 years of software engineering experience in a contracting environment. Current top secret security clearance is a plus.
